Christmas Recap

My parents put up three trees in their home for Christmas. The one in the kitchen is usually flocked. The last couple of years my parents have selected a tree which most resembles the tree from Whoville. Of course, they never realize the astonishing likeness until it is put up and decorated.
This is my little sister Brandice. We also like to call her Nanny, Bran-dizzle, Nan, Nanny-goat, and many other endearing pet names. She decided we needed a reinactment o f the Nativity on Christmas Eve. We all thought it was great until Director Nanny was thinking more along the lines of musical/pageant/major motion picture. We even had a dress rehearsal! I must say I was a little disappointed with the casting. The guy she got for the shepard's sheep was a little confrontational. He was not interested in seeing a baby in a basket. Also, one of the wisemen looked like a gypsy king and the shepard's staff was actually a water noodle. And where in the Bible does it say the angel also stood in as a wiseman?

Emery couldn't get enough of her aunts, but felt she had too much of her uncle who ages her by 3 years.
He's handsome, hardworking, and needs a wife! Don't hold back ladies! Did I mention he loves kids?

Christmas Eve is always topped off with a little groove and shake! It's a tradition in the Bennett home which dates back to the early 17th Century! Actually, we started doing it in the late 90's. We missed you Erin and Zach! Erin, we're certain your moves would've put us all to shame!
